Bank Robbery – 140 E. San Fernando Street

On 4/10/12, at approximately 10:29 a.m., San Jose police officers investigated a robbery at the Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union, located at 140 E. San Fernando Street, in San Jose. The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Alex Ryan Wells, presented a note and demanded money from the teller.
The suspect exited the credit union with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen fleeing on foot towards E. San Fernando Street. No weapon was seen during the incident.

Wells is also suspected in two previous bank robberies that occurred on 4/4/12 in Capitola and on 4/6/12 in Santa Cruz, both located in Santa Cruz County.
